English

I began to play piano when I was six years old, and I switched to electric bass few years later. In Naples, I studied bass techniques and harmony with PietroPaolo Veltre between others. When I moved to Barcelona, I went on studying harmony, improvisation in jazz and free improvisation with a number of italian, spanish, argentinian and american musicians, like David Reed and Matías Míguez.

Starting from 2008, I went deeply into flamenco style, having the opportunity to attend to a private masterclass by one of the best bass players in the World, Carles Benavent (Paco de Lucía, Chick Corea, Miles Davis, etc…).

Both in Italy and Spain, I have been part of many and diverse musical projects, working out many different styles, as jazz, funk, rock, pop, reggae, rumba, afrocuban, electronic, flamenco…playing live around Italy, Spain, and several European countries.

Currenlty, I work as a bass and musical language teacher, as well as live and studio musician, and producer, co-working in many projects as Cargolé (contemporary flamenco), Tenderete (flamenco), Caravancú (jazz), and Ziriab (flamenco jazz).

So far, I have had the opportunity to work with many great musicians, as Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo, Roger Blàvia, Rafa Navarro, David Pastor, Niño Seve, Alexander Sputh, and a long etc…
